As a Midwestern fisherman, I wondered for a while what those things were hanging off the back of those bass boats. After I was asked to give one a whirl, I don’t know that I will ever not have a Talon shallow water anchor hanging off the back. I’ve use it for fishing walleye’s, bass and panfish, but you would not believe how handy it is when it comes time to dock your boat. It’s just an all around tool that makes my job as a fishing guide that much easier. When you don’t have to worry about dealing with anchors and ropes, you’ve got a good thing. Once again, awesome invention! Get a Talon and you’ll go nowhere too!
I’ve been on board with these guys for a couple of years now and my guests (and myself) have put them to the test. We’ve caught a lot of fish and missed a few over the past couple of years and have found that the strength and sensitivity are there! I mainly use 2B with my guide guests but also have a nice collection of Eliott rods in the Identity Series for myself. Let me tell you, they are great fishing rods!
